Network of Indian Professionals - LA-OC

Welcome to the Los Angeles and Orange County chapter of the Network of Indian Professionals

The Network of Indian Professionals Los Angeles and Orange County (NetIP LA-OC), a chapter of the national organization, Network of Indian Professionals (NetIP), is a professional, non-profit organization dedicated to the overall achievement and advancement of South Asian professionals. The primary focus of the organization is to foster a bond among South Asian professionals to unite and support each other locally, as well as to give back and contribute positively to the communities in which we live and work.

Purpose & Vision

The purpose of NetIP LA-OC is to serve as a medium to bring increased awareness about and to South Asian Americans through community service, professional networking, charitable fundraisers, cultural events and educational seminars. By combining diverse skills and resources to support common goals, NetIP LA-OC strives to benefit not only the South Asian American community, but also society at large. These four pillars of Professional Development, Cultural Awareness, Community Service and Political Awareness are what depict the unique brand of NetIP. Ultimately, NetIP LA-OC hopes to create a unified sense of community among all South Asian Americans, here in the
United States and abroad.

Objectives

I. Provide an opportunity for South Asian Americans to develop, refine and achieve their full potential as future community and corporate leaders.

II. Address key philanthropic, cultural and business concerns of unique importance to the South Asian American community.

III. Support activities that seek to raise the cultural awareness and enhance the perception of the South Asian Americans.

IV. Facilitate increased interaction, communication and the exchange of ideas among the South Asian Americans.
